Wow surprised this place is getting such low reviews. It's kind of wild that I knew about Blood Bros when they were still cooking out of parking lots and outside of bars in Houston - now look at them now, even having a stall in the Resorts World Casino. They've really come a long way, and happy for the success. So back to this stall - I mean, this is definitely 75th% percentile BBQ, probably 80th percentile for Vegas, and 90th percentile for a food court. Brisket is good - not the same as going to Blood Brother's B&M location in Texas, but it's decent. It's food court prices, what can you expect. But if you're craving BBQ while in Vegas, or just happen to be in Resorts World, you can do far worse. Don't let the poor reviews scare you.

This BBQ joint is one of the more popular spots at the Famous Foods Street Eats food hall, located at the Resorts World casino in Vegas. I checked it out this weekend right before the Canelo fight later that day. Overall, I'd really rate this place as a solid 3.5 (definitely not a 4 as I have it) but, with Yelp not having 3.5 ratings, rounded up due to the customer service being excellent and the food coming out extremely fast. Originally went to order the Gochujang St. Louis spare ribs I'd heard about but they said they no longer offer those ribs here because there's too much "preparation" required for getting the food out in a reasonable time to customers (which didn't strike me as the best excuse but whatever). So I instead ordered the brisket, which seems to be another popular offering. The brisket by itself (a la carte) was $17.75 with sides being $7-8 more. None of the sides, other than maybe the brisket fried rice, really appealed to me me and I didn't want to spend $30+ dollars on a quick lunch so just got the brisket by itself. Another downer here was a regular 16 oz bottle of soda costing $5.50 (!) here, though that price for sodas/bottled water is apparently uniform throughout all the food spots at the food hall here. I asked for a free cup of water but they declined LOL - said the only water available is bottled water which could be purchased for $5.50. So I order and the food was ready within 2-3 minutes, which was fantastic. The BBQ was a handful of brisket cuts, one slice of white bread, and a small cup they provide you of spicy BBQ sauce (you have a choice between spicy and sweet sauce). I'll say that the BBQ was good (though not great), especially with the spicy sauce. I ended up having to ask for another cup of the sauce (which they happily provided) since the original portion of sauce was so small. The brisket was a bit dry but, again, it was good overall. Don't know if I'd ever come back here again because I thought the pricing was (very) high - both for the brisket and the bottle of soda. Definitely not close to the best BBQ I've had and I can see why this spot is rated only 3 stars on Yelp. If you want real BBQ in Vegas think you'll have to go off-strip to a spot like Rollin' Smokes or Soul Belly. As a positive, I'll say the worker here who helped me with my order was very nice and helpful in guiding me through the ordering process - that's the main reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 3. The food hall at Resorts is worth checking out if you've never been but don't think the quality of food here warrants the high price, at least for this spot in particular. I do appreciate the electronic screens they have set up throughout the food hall that makes it easier to order/pick-up without having to stand in a long line (they text you when the food is ready).

Wow I used to spend summers in Texas at my parents house when I was in college so I know what a good Texan Bbq should taste like but this was better than anything I had had. I was so disappointed at all the bbq I had in Orange County they were all bone dry n just tasteless, this Blood Bros BBQ was so moist so flavorful, finger licking good . I was afraid the coleslaw would be too spicy as it had jalapeño but I decided to give it a try, omg it was phenomenal what did they put in it to make it so delicious and it was not too hot. I was lucky I chose the bbq as all the other Chinese restaurants were expensive n I was afraid might not be good, I think Resorts World was bought by the Chinese n my experience from traveling all over China, the food was not as good as in Hong Kong. Come back to read my review of Resorts World n the Bacchanal buffet. This should be 6 stars!!
